<image:caption>I worked with photographer Daniel Reichert to create this campaign for A Noise Within Theatre. We came to the shoot with several ideas, and on set, Daniel suggested actually getting dirt on the actors. He had one actor smear dirt all over his face. Then I suggested we have the talented Deborah Strang stare straight into the camera with just a few splashes of dirt on her face. Deborah was totally game and I flicked a the dirt you see onto her face. This campaign won Deborah the role of Joaquin Phoenix’s mother in an upcoming film. The casting director saw the ads on facebook and said, “That’s the woman I want to play Joaquin’s mother.”</image:caption>

      <image:title>home - August Wilson's Gem of the Ocean</image:title>
<image:caption>Again working with the talented Daniel Reichert as photographer, we developed this concept for August Wilson’s Gem of the Ocean. The play heavily draws on the themes of earth, wind, fire, and water. I mentioned to Daniel that we wanted to bring those elements into the key art, and he suggested we try pouring water on the actor, Veralyn Jones during our shoot. The results made this stunning key art.</image:caption>

      <image:title>home - Alice in Wonderland</image:title>
<image:caption>We put photographer Daniel Reichert to the test for this one. I wanted to capture the feeling of Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole. With Erika Soto in the role of Alice balancing on a stool, the play director, Stephanie Shroyer and I aimed blow driers at her hair. After I composited elements from a few different shots in photoshop, we had what we needed.</image:caption>

<image:caption>For this campaign, I worked as the internal creative director for Vineyard Theatre as we partnered with Audible to create this design with our agency AKA. We only had 20 minutes to shoot with the amazing Billy Crudup, so I set up the photo shoot with one of my favorite photographers, Jordan Hollender at HollenderX2. The large V that frames Billy Crudup’s face was an element used across our season to tie all the shows together. The show went on to be the best selling show in Vineyard Theatre history and audible extended the Off-Broadway run at a new theatre after recording the show as an audio play on their platform.</image:caption>

<image:caption>It’s always amazing to work on a John Kander musical, especially when Susan Stroman is directing. The icing on the cake is having two dance titans like Tony Yazbeck and Irina Dvorovenko as models. Again we worked with the amazing Jordan Hollender of HollenderX2. This one went through a lot of iterations, and I worked hard to drive the creative with our agency AKA. In the end, the entire creative team was thrilled by this final product.</image:caption>

<image:caption>This is the logo I made for Vineyard Theatre's 30th Anniversary Season. Vineyard is an Off-Broadway theatre company in New York that is dedicated to the creation and production of daring new plays and musicals and had premiered such hits as the Tony Award-winning AVENUE Q and Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize winning play THREE TALL WOMEN. The next few designs are all part of a campaign to highlight this extraordinary company's history.</image:caption>

      <image:title>home - Gidion's Knot key art</image:title>
<image:caption>The title for Gidion's Knot was essentially a play on the Gordian Knot, a legend often used as a metaphor for an intractable problem (disentangling an "impossible" knot) solved easily by cheating or "thinking outside the box". In this case, the play also wraps that concept around a mother's love and what it means to defend her child so the art was meant to envelop all of that.</image:caption>
